Can I just say again, how much I love doing senior portrait sessions?  I LOVE photographing high school seniors!  The pictures above are some of the reasons why.  They are just so much fun to interact with.  I love making them feel special, and get to know a little bit about them.  I also love the funny moments. 

When Austin and Maddie saw the statues at Doty Park, they went and stood next to them, and were commenting on how creepy they looked because they really have no eyeballs.  Of course I took a photo and then I had to tell them the story of the first time I went to Doty Park.  It was a few years ago just as I started taking senior portraits and I was looking for a few different locations.  It was over spring break, and I decided that the next day I would drive to Neenah and look around.  Well, I woke up to over a foot of snow, but decided to go anyway.  As I drove up to the park, I saw 3 people standing in the snow.  I decided that if they could walk through it, so could I.  So, I got out of my car and started walking toward them.  I wondered why they didn't move and were just standing in one spot.  You guessed it!  As I got closer I found out that they were statues!  I don't tell too many people that story :)

In the second shot, I had asked Austin to make a small splash, so there would be ripples in the water when I took the photo.  He was a bit overzealous, and the splash got a bit big.  Yes, he was soaked, but we all had a good laugh!
