I invite you to a personal session with me. It will empower you, and will change the way you see yourself!
I absolutely LOVE working with teenagers. As a physical education teacher for over 25 years, and having 2 kids in sports, it was a perfect opportunity for me to begin sports photography in 2008. It was a natural progression for me to begin senior portrait sessions a year later. Whether it's taking their senior portraits, creating edgy sports photos and montages or working with teams to design posters and banners, I love their excitement and energy! I try to create an experience that's fun and relaxed, while producing timeless, quality portraits. One of the most endearing comments came from a mom after I had a session with her daughter. This was part of her email: "Wow! her self confidence has skyrocketed! You made her session so much fun and she felt so special. Thank you!" I love making my seniors feel special, and they become extended family members!
I specialize in senior, family & sports photography. I like to call myself a Printographer, because you will receive beautiful, archival prints and albums from your session, printed at professional labs. I won't just give you a bunch of files and have you try to print & edit them on your own. I walk you through each step and make your experience seamless. I'm also fully licensed and insured in the state of WI.
I'm still teaching at St. John's School, in Little Chute. When I'm not devoting my time to photography, I love to spend time camping or visiting local nature preserves. My greatest blessings are my 2 boys, Eric & Austin. Eric is married to Nicole and has the cutest baby, my grandson, Noah! And Austin is engaged to Jenna and planning a 2022 wedding.
What to expect with your session
When you call to book your session I'll talk about what your expectations are with your session. Do you have an special interests that you'd like to include in the session. Athletes sometimes like to include uniforms or sports equipment, musicians like to have a few photos with their instrument or music. You will decide on a location to have your session, based on your interests, personality and time of day of your session. I'll also set up a consultation time for ordering within 4 weeks after your session date.
Sessions will take place on location or in my home studio and will last up to 2 1/2 hours depending on the session you choose. Before you arrive at your session, we'll review what you hope to achieve for your photographs. Do you have a special request? Sometimes parents want one photo with their senior or child, or they need this portrait to match others they have. Just be sure to let me know.
After the session, it takes approximately two weeks to complete editing, after which time we'll make an appointment for you to come to my home studio to view and place your order. At that time I can help you decide which sizes you want for your portraits and you will be able to view samples of each of the print sizes and products I offer. Prints usually arrive within three weeks of your order, but some specialty products can take up to 4 weeks to process. Once your prints are packaged, you'll get an email and set up a time to pick them up! It's so exciting to get the final product!
