A few things about me..... I love camping at Hartman Creek & Peninsula State Park in Door County. My favorite drink is Diet Coke (although I'm trying to drink less.) I love Cheetos. My favorite candy.....well, I have a few....licorice, Milky Way, and Peanut Butter M&Ms :) Who can live without chocolate???? Favorite Restaurant... Qdoba, Hu Hot or BWWs. I am not a morning person, but love late nights. Of course, my favorite thing to do besides photography, is spending time with my two grown boys, daughter-in-law and my new grandbaby! They are my greatest blessing.
I LOVE working with high school students whether it's taking their senior portraits or designing sportraits, montages & sports collages for them. I try to create an experience that's fun and relaxed, while producing timeless, quality portraits. One of the most endearing comments from a mom after I had a session with her daughter was, "Wow! her self confidence has skyrocketed! You made her session so much fun and she felt so special. Thank you!" I love making my seniors feel special, and they become like family members!
I started my photography business in 2008 and specialize in senior, family & sports photography. I'm fully licensed and insured in the state of WI. I'm also a physical education teacher at St. John's School, in Little Chute.
What to expect with your session
When you call to book your session I'll talk about what your expectations are with your session. Do you have an special interests that you'd like to include in the session. Athletes sometimes like to include uniforms or sports equipment, musicians like to have a few photos with their instrument or music. You will decide on a location to have your session, based on your interests, personality and time of day of your session. I'll also set up a consultation time for ordering within 4 weeks after your session date.
Sessions will take place on location or in my home studio and will last up to 2 1/2 hours depending on the session you choose. Before you arrive at your session, we'll review what you hope to achieve for your photographs. Do you have a special request? Sometimes parents want one photo with their senior or child, or they need this portrait to match others they have. Just be sure to let me know.
After the session, it takes approximately two weeks to complete editing, after which time we'll make an appointment for you to come to my home studio to view and place your order. At that time I can help you decide which sizes you want for your portraits and you will be able to view samples of each of the print sizes and products I offer. Prints usually arrive within three weeks of your order, but some specialty products can take up to 4 weeks to process. Once your prints are packaged, you'll get an email and set up a time to pick them up! It's so exciting to get the final product!
